The Grass Genomics laboratory of the Noble Research Institute, LLC in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking to hire a Research Technician.
This part-time Research Technician position is funded through an internal research initiative. The Institute’s Forage365 research initiative aims to provide a sustainable, year-round grazing system. Funding is anticipated to be renewed annually based upon performance and funding availability and is scheduled to end on or before September 30, 2017.
This position will allow for a flexible time schedule of approximately 28 hours a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Duties will include but are not limited to assisting with greenhouse and field evaluations of bermudagrass plants for nitrogen use efficiency to support the scientific research objectives of the Grass Genomics laboratoty and the Forage 365 research initiative.
No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment. Experience in research is preferred.
Because of the physical demands of this position, the selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a work steps test.
