The Noble Research Institute LLC in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to assist with all aspects of lab, field and/or greenhouse work to support the scientific research objectives of the Legume and Cover Crop Beeding program under the supervision of Dr. Suresh Bhamidimarri. Training on all lab, field and greenhouse activities will be provided. Previous experience in a research environment is preferred.
This temporary position will be funded until December 31, 2017. This position will allow for a flexible time schedule of approximately 28 hours a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Duties will include but are not limited to germinating seeds, planting, harvesting and cleaning seed, assisting with data collection and sample processing and genotyping using molecular techniques.
No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment. Experience in research is preferred.
Because of the physical demands of this position, the selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a work steps test.
