Overview

The Noble Research Institute's Communication department is seeking a Video Specialist to create and deliver art layout and design, copy and/or video graphic works using advanced design principles with and extensive base of design experience. The individual will report directly to Adam Calaway, Director of Communications & Public Relations, and will interact daily with internal design and public relations staff to advance the design and branding efforts of the Institute. In addition, this person will work directly with the Institute’s researchers and staff to develop visual solutions to communicate advanced scientific and technical concepts.

Video Specialist Job Description

Responsibilities

The Video Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering graphic and video works, consulting with requestors to determine project needs, developing a project plan, write and/or edit scripts and story-boarding, when appropriate, and producing preliminary visual solutions for review and approval, delivering timely solutions in the appropriate mediums and aligned with Institute standards to requestors, stewarding the Institute's name, logo, brand and image. The Video Specialist is responsible for managing all projects from conception to delivery to ensure the production of the highest quality end product, including assuming responsibility for completion to all project specifications. This position will require the incumbent is to use a customer serviced-focused approach for all interactions and tasks.

Qualifications

A bachelors degree in in videography, graphic design or related is required. A high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience with all types of photographic and video equipment experience will also be considered.

 

The successful candidate should be comfortable working with both Mac and Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with multimedia/video applications such as Adobe Premiere, Flash or Final Cut Pro are beneficial.
