The Noble Research Institute LLC in Ardmore, Oklahoma is seeking a Research Assistant to assist members of the Sensor Agronomy program with research work in the field, lab, and greenhouse. This position will be under the direction of Dr. Twain Butler.
This temporary position is funded through a grant from the Foundation for Food and Agricultural Research. Funding is anticipated to be renewed annually based upon performance and funding availability and is scheduled to end on or before January 31, 2022.

The focus of this temporary position will be to assist members of the Sensor Agronomy program with tasks associated with the sensor project related to cover crops. Duties will include, but are not limited to tractor driving, planting, fertilizing, data collection, data entry, and operating sensor equipment.
A high school diploma or equivalent with excellent written and oral communication skills is required. A B.S. degree in agronomy, or closely related field is preferred. Also preferred are candidates with field plot experience and basic computer knowledge along with general farm and/or ranch experience (working with livestock and farm equipment).
Because of the physical demands of this position, the selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a work steps test.
