The Noble Research Institute in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a highly motivated summer Research Technician to assist with all aspects of lab and/or greenhouse work to support the scientific research objectives of the Legume Genomics program. This position will be under the direct supervision of Dr. Maria Monteros.
These temporary positions are available for approximately 12 weeks during the summer months of May through August and is intended for high school and college students. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Duties will include assisting in plant growth evaluations, plant imaging, preparing media for plant growth and propagation, harvesting and cleaning seed, assisting with data collection and sample processing and genotyping using molecular techniques.
No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment. Experience in research is preferred.
