The Noble Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated summer Research Technician to assist members of the Root Phenomics program with research work in the lab, field and greenhouse. This position will be under the direct supervision of Larry York, PhD.
This temporary position is available for approximately 12 weeks during the summer months of May through August and is intended for high school and college students. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Duties of the position will include but are not limited to sampling of roots, washing soil from roots, scanning or imaging roots, weighing plant shoots, and basic laboratory work. The holder of the position will learn important skills in plant phenotyping, one of the fastest growing sectors of plant biology.
No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment. Experience in research and/or field work is preferred.
