The Noble Research Institute LLC is accepting applications for a Horticulture Intern.
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks during the Fall of 2018.
Hourly Rate: This intern position will earn $12 to $14 per hour (subject to federal and state income tax withholding). The intern will work 40 hours per week for up to 12 weeks; payments are made semimonthly. Course credit may also be available, subject to university requirements.

The successful intern will work alongside a staff mentor that matches their field of study. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with teaching and learning demonstrations highlighting different concepts of food production practices in backyard environments, field production, raised beds and containers systems and protected agriculture systems. The intern will also work with Education group in development of school gardens and cirriculum associated with gardens. Additional responsibilities of daily activities including but not limited to watering, fertilizing, weed control, havesting, and demonstration plot upkeep.
