The Noble Research Institute LLC in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a highly motivated part-time Research Technician to assist with all aspects of primarily lab tasks to support the scientific research objectives of a USDA NIFA grant focused on developing a phenotyping platform for measuring the uptake of all nutrients in solution across a range of concentrations for genetic mapping. Research related to this position will be conducted in the Root Phenomics program under the direction of Dr. Larry York.
This temporary part-time Research Technician position is funded through a grant from the USDA NIFA program and is scheduled to end on or before December 31, 2018.
The regular work schedule for this position is up to 5 days per week during the normal 8:00 am to 5:00 pm work day. This position will allow for up to a maximum of 28 hours per week. Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Duties of the position will include but are not limited to assisting lab members with setting up pumps and tubing for sampling hydroponics, collecting samples, processing samples for nutrient analysis, and data entry.
No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment. Experience in mechatronics is preferred.
