  • Overview

    The Noble Research Institute's Enterprise Systems and Informatics group is seeking a full time Programmer 1 to join our Solutions and Data Technologies team. The ideal candidate will have skills in the area of developing, designing and implementing software and database solutions. The position will work closely with Noble's staff of researchers, scientists and agricultural professionals to develop solutions to solve great agricultural challenges. The successful candidate will be developing solutions using development languages such as Python, R, Perl, Java and .Net. Candidates with a background of development within the Linux operating systems are preferred, and preference may also be given to applicants who have experience in biology related fields.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance software and database solutions.
    • Create and modify user interfaces.
    • Author and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
    • Provide escalated support for applications.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is required. 2 years of enterprise IT experience preferred, but not required.
